Alex johnson RB - real talent may be the best in the state with d. Bourque grades are big issue

Jacoby briscoe DT 6'5 270- I think he gets offer, he's high on bama as well

Jalen Nixon Ath 6'3 220- great size, HS QB that will have to change positions in college.

Jordan walker OL - mammoth o-linemen 6'4 315

They definitely have the talent to make a push I think they lost in the quarters this past year. They also have 1 or 2 other guys that will get college offers but those four will prolly sign with major colleges. Like I said only Alex Johnson has grade issues but I've heard from many coaches that he is SEC material great balance and burst.

That's awesome, might have to check a game out next year.. Just yesterday I was passing in front of the school and thought it's a shame that the carencro program isn't what it used to be. It's been a feeder school to LSU since Faulk. Hopefully (whoever the coach is now) they can get guys to play football and not waste their talents.

5-A, yeah the coach at the middle school used to turn some kids into men then send them to HS ready to play. He left and the program went to shite. Brent indest is there now And he's putting his stamp on the program and I think he will do well.

thats what I figured. They had some great players back in the day when they were 3A or maybe they still are but that was back in the late 80's early 90's.

You are correct. Billy McCaully would coordinate with Mac Barousse and the kids were fundamentally sound when they arrived at Carencro. The routine was basically the same from middle school to high school.McCaully was probably one of the better coaches in Lafayette Parish.Carencro Middle School dominated football during McCaully's tenure at the school.

What ever happened to the kid that transferred from Georgia that was supposed to play for them this year? I think he was a Zenon?

This is true I think coach McCauley only lost about 8 or 9 games in the 28 years he was there. I'm not sure about a georgia kid I haven't heard anything.

Thanks.

Troy Constantine was fantastic, he was just too small from back in the day.

Unfortunately for him, we're about as deep as we've been in awhile when it comes to top guys we're targeting.

Alexander, Humphries, Riser, Edinburg, Garcia are all probably ahead of him and (mostly) all have us right at the top.
