Can anyone speak of how Sage Ryan might fit in at LSU?

I hate when a player is listed at Athlete. Particularly when there is nothing added to the profile to describe how he might fit in to a prospective team.
At any rate, any information that any of you might provide would be appreciated.

I thought I saw somewhere that we were recruiting him as a safety. I could be wrong though.

He is a versatile player that projects as a safety but that does not mean thats where he will end up. Sorta similar to Marcel Brooks. Not skill set wise but versatility.

He is listed as a CB but LSU would probably needs him the most at Safety. He could also play WR, but I doubt LSU will need him there.

He’s probably a safety. Could play offense as well.

With the nickel being an extremely valuable player on every defense in CFB now and LSU doesn’t have a clear nickel on roster (Vincent struggled, Lorando Johnson not signed, Greene flipped, maybe Mo Hampton but he’s been good at safety) I think Ryan would be best fit there.

Not sure exactly what position he will play, but he will be an elite return guy.

Dude is a straight up playmaker. He can cover, tackle, and return punts. Legit speed it appears too.

I’m not sure what position they will play him at, but I’d definitely have him returning punts or kickoffs! This kids has jets! I watched him play against Acadiana and he returned 2 for touchdowns! They couldn’t touch him! And it looked like he wasn’t running that fast. Love this kid!

He’ll fit right in as an all American safety

Thanks for all of the answers.
I am glad that the consensus is DB since the last thing we need in state next year is a WR ;-)

We need him at Safety but he might play some Receiver. A lot of kids are athletes early on in high school.
