He says in interview one of the biggest reasons he didnt pick LSU was he didnt want to start with a new QB? Not sure where he got that info from or why it wasnt clarified. I think 90% of LSU fans know qb will be Etling. Hes a senior with a year of starting qb experience. LINK

After two years the Florida State quarterback still plays like a "new" Quarterback. Brennan looked better in the All Star game.

If u actually listent to the interview he says exactly that. Why would he think we're starting a new qb next year? Thats my question.

Well, whatever college he goes to, the QB is going to be a new QB- to him at least. Weak reason but good luck to him.

Etling seems to have hit his ceiling, while Francois hasnt even lifted off the floor... dude's a baller if he can stay healthy behind that putrid oline.

Im not making this an Etling vs Francois thing. However, Francois under Jimbo is more certain than Etling under Canada IMO. There's a level of certainty I guess that swayed him.

I'm offshore and have limited bandwidth so I can't watch the interview. I would assume he's talking sophomore year where he'd be starting and Etling would be gone. That would be a new starter at QB with him. Just my interpretation.
