This kid is one of the hottest recruits in the state. Has 28 offers and tons of big programs. Really would like to see an offer to him, not many de"s this year. And he has a great frame at 6ft 5 in, and great strength and speed. Also would deffinetly commit if offered!

I hope they don't slow play him too much longer. He's legit and would be a great addition to this class.

Have to trust the staff in these situations. Willing to bet that he gets his offer soon..

I was under the impression that most of the DT's we are offering were going to be 3-4 ends. No doubt the kid is a talented player, but isn't he a little to much of a tweener for our defensive scheme going forward?

I have been saying that for months, and just don't understand it.
No elite DEs are even really high on us (top 5), and this guy looks realy, good from what I've seen.
Maybe they are thinking about making the switch of Sullivan to DE (which I would like as well).

There's no doubt the staff is thinking about it. We won't know for sure until he's here though.

LSU will be a player for Shavar Manuel and the Gooden kid from Tennessee is all about LSU as well. No reason to rush offering Roddy. He probably will get his offer at camp if he shows out either way though
