Kid is a great athlete

He is commited to Southern Miss right now but if we went after you'd have to think there's a good chance he would come. The problem is...he's most likely going to Southern Miss on a full ride & LSU would most likely offer a preferred walk on position with opportunity to earn a scholarship

Is he a 17 kid?? If so we didn't offer Joe Boulovus who is one of the top kickers in country so we're not taking a kicker this year.

He Kicked for Less Smiles over the summer as a tryout....booming 60+ yarders...Lesticles tells BB thanks but no thanks...True Story!

Isn't Culp going to get a shot at being the main kicker last year?
He was highly rated as a high school kicker and I believe was a redshirt this season.

yeah he kicked for them over the summer and did well...but lsu said thanks, but we have enough kickers....this was after they invited him to this camp and he paid money for the camp. So that's when he really started talking to southern miss. Then when lsu kicker got in that wreck they called briggs back to go to another camp. But he said no thanks.

Briggs is at terrific athlete, also starring in soccer and baseball. He could legitimately play slot receiver.
