Yup. Y'all remember when Harris took snaps at #170 soaking wet and call his HS plays? And we were excited about it!

Brennan is already more accurate, and knows how to move in the pocket. I agree he probably needs a RS, but think he might surprise

WOW! That's your definition of football IQ?

Something really impressive about this young man:

As a senior, he threw for 3,982 yards with 48 touchdowns and had zero interception during the regular season. Amazing

What I am happy about is that when fall practice begins, LSU will have the luxury of having many quality players to choose from at QB. There is no college experience past Etling, but lots of talent. With Canada running things on offense, one of these young men are bound to rise up, maybe really high. Maybe I am stating the obvious but I really believe that Canada will find a special QB in the group he has to choose from.

Not that it necessarily matters, but the OP's title is a bit misleading. He was named an "Honorable Mention", not an All American. The kid going to Oregon is the All American. Still, just to be mentioned is a great accomplishment.

Hopefully he can grow into his frame, but there's no doubt the kid can sling it.

Both of his parents are from New Orleans and went to Tulane. The kid's heart is from the Boot.

When I was in High School in the 60's the Parade All American was all there was. The Parade Magazine came out in the Sunday Paper each week. I did not know the Parade Magazine was still around?

McMillan's high school stats are not even close to what Scott accomplished.

One of these kids will rise to the occasion.

No one knows which of the 4, right now we have depth with 5 Scholarship QB's on roster. 3 have never played a down, McMillin just a few plays and two lead their high school teams to HS state championships, I seem to remember McMillan HS team won the Texas state tile but not sure.

Naming Brennan as the savior now is just not realistic and let him get on campus and earn his way to the starting job.

Predicting QB's starting in college from high school is just impossible except rare occasions.
