He came out saying he is still unsure about transferring. Does he think he can win the job back? Who would you all pick if you were OSU?

The best decision might be to follow Tom Herman, his current OC, down to Houston. He will already know the system and should be able to work on his mechanics while steam rolling the competition.

200+ rushing yards in each game from Elliott sure makes things easier

His stock will never be higher. Sit at OSU or sit in the pros and get paid.

What's going to happen is braxton stays and we get Torrance Gibson and then he will flame out at QB and then his senior year we turn him into a WR

I don't think Barrett would have won those three games

You ever heard of Matt Cassell?

He started no college games and still got drafted.

Cardelle Jones is draft eligible and was 3rd string on the depth chart. He is the most prostyle quarterback of the 3 and the hot hand right now.. however if he does not go pro now he will still be either 2nd or even 3rd string going forward in college.

He ABSOLUTELY should go pro, why should he sit for more years if he is draft eligible now in a somewhat weak QB class? NFL is all about projections, not exactly how many college games or stats you put up.. See Jimmy Graham out of Miami.

Plus he's already won a NATIONAL championship.

Plus he has a wife I believe and he absolutely has a kid?

Did you watch the games and have you seen him this season? He would have won all 3 given OSU is dominant on both sides of the football. Barrett would have rushed all over Bama where Jones got off to a slower start and didn't run very well aside from his power.

Yeah, he just had a daughter and he grey shirted before enrolling at Ohio State so he's actually a year older than most RS Soph.

I think he should go, his stock will never be higher. It's probably best for Ohio State too to help clear up the log jam. Best move for all parties.

Should go pro.

It's Ohio State. Another year isn't going to make him into a viable pro QB. Strike while the iron is hot, and it will never be hotter for him.

That said, he'll struggle in the pros just like all of the other Ohio State QBs.
