he has more money than you will ever fathom having and his family was very poor. good for him. Plus you can get better by going to the NBA as opposed to staying in college.

why? was bass going to grow 3 inches by staying another year at lsu? because thats the only thing that could have improved his draft stock. in fact, its more likely that his stock wouldve dropped had he gone back to school.

I don't think it would have gone down. He's only gotten better since he's been in the NBA. If you see him in the NBA now, he is strong as shite. He could probably handle Shaq down low. He's also gotten quicker and has been more of a presence.

bass was already an extremely polished post player with an nba ready body. unless he either grew a few inches or got a lot quicker and developed a perimeter game that wouldve allowed him to play SF, his stock wasnt going to go much if any higher. and the longer those types of players stay in college the lower they fall. see tyler hansborough.

do you think the fact that hes improved might have something to do with the fact that he has been in the NBA, not in college?

1. he was already strong as shite in college.

2. do you think the fact that hes gotten stronger might have something to do with the fact that he has been in the NBA, not in college?

there are quite a few people in the nba now that can handle shaq down low at this point in his career.

yes i know, because hes been in college, not in the nba.

I agree with you a little bit. If you see CP3, he wasn't a college player. He's an NBA player. In college you run more of an offense where as the NBA, you do what the PG tells you too.

Brandon Bass was the POY in the SEC one if I'm not mistaken and yes he was good and college and I personally think he would have gotten even more stronger. But yes, his quickness has to do with him being in the NBA.

Not many people who are 6'8 who don't play the center position

That is true.
