Not having a good game against Byrd but at least he is getting used to the sec refs. He was speared in the head causing a fumble and no call. Oh and Cam Cameron was at the game.

It's okay for him to have an off night. All of the other games this year He has been ridiculously good.

He had 17 rushes for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns. Long of 51. 9-16 passing for 104 yards 1 td and 1 int. Long of about 50.

Not really a LSU fan but this kid is going to be great. He has a great arm and can really run.

Parkway was running a lot of 1 WR routes and they were deep throws. Harris looked really sharp on throws within 20 yards. He gets the ball out quick - one of the quickest releases I've ever seen from a HS QB. He ran a lot because he couldn't be stopped.

Byrds secondary is also pretty decent and had the receivers under wrap a good bit. But they were so focused on stopping the pass that Harris was running free.
He has such a smooth running it ridiculous. A couple of times it looked like he would be caught from behind but got away.... seemingly without even speeding up.

Just another little tidbit about Harris...parkways kicker missed his first 2 XP. When he finally made the third one, Harris was the first one out there to congratulate him. Also liked the way he responded after taking a blatant shot to the head. This kid is high character and will be a stud at LSU. And Cam Cameron seemed ecstatic every time he made a big play. Can't wait to see him in purple and gold!

His running ability is not talked about enough. He's a pass first guy that runs sub 4.5 . He could easily have 1000 yards rushing this season if he choose not to be a pass first guy. Which is what we want.
