What are the chances we land none of them?

The way the team struggled last year and they way they didn't improve over the season at all put Johnny jones coaching on notice. He was also slammed by Stephen A which was well deserved so Johnny can only blame himself

I highly doubt Mitchell Robinson signs with WKU. This is reminiscent of Jordan Scarlett committing to FAU because his uncle was a coach there. He did it to help him out with no intention of actually going there. I'd bet he doesn't sign in the fall and stretches it out till the spring. Interestingly, the big boys haven't really come after him like you'd expect. So far Kansas, UNC, Duke, and Kentucky don't seem very interested in Mitch. Might be some grade concerns, since he's transferred schools 4 times.

Josh can go. Zero doubts about that. Slasher, can handle it, and plays well above the rim.

Really don't think there are any grade concerns with Mitchell. Smart kid who last I heard was well over a 3.0 GPA.

He's a stud and has been for years. Glad to see him getting the recognition he deserves.

Heard it was transcript issues since he's bounced around so much. Heard some stuff about Europe too, which is happening more and more now. You're well informed, what do you think happens here? You think he ends up signing with WKU or flipping to one of the blue bloods if they offer? Any potential replacements for Pinkins? Seems like it's been way too long to not have a new coach.

Yes and no. He will fill in the role that Pinkins left. We haven't hired a coach to give us what DP gave us.

Kirby is an awesome recruiter dude, also a better big man coach than Pinkins.

That's what I'm saying. Pinkins was supposed to be a recruiter but just wasn't good. that's why he left.

I'll address a few things to the best I can.

Mitchell - Not sure on the transcripts issue but he's attended legit schools entire time. It's possible he ends up at WKU between Stansbury and his godfather but I wouldn't bet on it.

Asst Coach - Kirby replaced DP. Only word I've heard is that they bring back Leonard as an Asst. Hard to tell tho. When teams late they often have a guy already set to be in place that isn't on a staff. Allows them to not be restricted by recruiting rules.

Brandon Rachal - Kid from Natch. Elite defender at 6'6. He's just behind two Top 50-75 guys in state on LSU board. They all have their pros and cons but feels like LSU has Rachal clearly behind the other two right now.

Hey Coach D, any idea where LSU stands with both Alexander and Anderson as well as Russell?

We could land all of them and I would feel zero confidence in JJ doing anything with them
