Whats the problem?

You seen his senior numbers? Not exactly #4 player in the country type stats.

Damn, Chris Faulk is now #42, which should help us out in the rankings. TR is now #7, after some really big performances.

The fact that not only is Barkley still ranked #1 but that Rivals is actually making excuses for him is a joke.

if barkley doesnt improve on his numbers though i think he could slide by the end of the year and rueben could be no.1, also i know shepard is a great talent but i just dont seem him being a fulltime qb, maybe what perriloux was last year and or wr. people can say what they want but lsu really needs to get rueben randle. is one recurit bigger than lsu? no, of course not, but after mcknight last year and saban at alabama now building a powerhouse again this COULD be a huge blow to the future recruiting of lsu and a boost to alabama and saban.

Dude's a beast. I don't see how he's going to stay even at 74. Rivals needs to go watch him themselves and not take Scike's word for it.

From what I heard Fluker's move to the OL isn't looking that great and Barkley's numbers are mediocre at best. Seems like they don't care much.

Also, McCarron has pretty much stunk and he was a "big mover" jumping into the Top 100.

Well when they rated these guys he's had 12 TDs to 11 INTs this year.

bad

1438 yards 12 touchdowns 11 picks 52% completion percentage

not good. His O-line is horrible and his WR aren't up to Mater Dei standards, but he has been forcing balls the whole season and making horrible decisions.

His junior stats- 63% completion percentage, 3576 yards 35 touchdowns 9 picks

did he lose his supporting cast (OL and WRs) or do they just suck this year?

Another tragedy is Garrett Gilbert moving from 16 to 19. I thought he would make a HUGE jump UP, not moved down slightly.

Gilbert is the best QB in the nation IMO. He has been absolutely MANHANDLING teams this year.

They lost a fair amount. Khaled Holmes was one of the best gaurds in the country and is at USC now. Robbie Boyer who was his main threat last year is a walk-on at SC and they had a couple other O-lineman and WR's graduate....They lost a lot, but it's still a very bad year so far for him

Barkley vs. Gilbert

1438 yards, 12 TD, 11 INT, 52%

Gilbert
2111 yards, 20 TD, 1 INT, About 70% (can't find exact number for when they did this)

Barkley has the best arm to come out of HS in years. Stats not that great, but potential is huge. USC could land 6 of the top-14

Are you talking arm strength or other things also?
