Let's hope not, he is listed as a hard commit. If anyone else is true competition for his services then he isn't a hard commit.

I wouldn't call any committed prospect a hard commit. That's just me though. I always wait until the ink is dry

I think that majority of commits aren't hard commits, but there are a few exceptions. Kary Vincent last year said that in order for himself not to play at LSU, they'd have to cancel their football program. That sounds like a hard commit to me

Hard commit just designates that he hasn't taken an official visit anywhere else. If he does then he will be listed as a verbal commit. Don't read too much into it.
