I think Poche is the key recruit in this class. If he develops properly, he can be a future ace on this staff.

Looks like all recruits but Williams make it to campus. I think Williams could drop a good bit and still sign just to skip college the more I read about him.

Sounds like it's a 1 in 1000 chance he comes to college, but hypothetically assuming he did choose to attend school (realizing it's not happening) who would he compare with? A Matt Clark type power hitter on steroids?

This is a very bad assumption
We have 33 current players.
33 current players - 8 seniors = 25 players
25 players - worst possible scenario JR. draft (6 guys leave) = 19 players
We have 23 incoming recruits. If only Justin Williams signed, that's 22 incoming. 19 + 22 = 41...limit is 35
Now we'll probably lose 2-3 other current guys (wont name any names, no point right now)...but still, we're probably sitting around high 30's with the roster. We need to lose more than 1 incoming player, and Mainieri realizes naturally we will.

I meant all the big ones. Obviously some of these recruits will be cut in the fall or relocated to LSU-E and we will lose some current players. We will not have 20+ freshmen on the team next year.
