The Sirius radio talk show said they gave players from teams that played in bowls after Dec 29th additional time to decide.

Scott played 2 years at JUCO and 2 years at Auburn. “If” he graduated, he can transfer at anytime and is not subject to portal closing dates.

I'm not against grabbing 2 corners but you will probably have to cut a safety or corner off the roster.
All I know is they need at least 1 true starting corner. I actually like zy lexander but he isn't a number 1 corner.
At least if they grab Scott, then sage, zy, jk Johnson, and jyaire brown can fight it out for #2.
I don't like going into the season with sage as cb1 and jk Johnson or brown cb2. Alexander will be out half the yr at least

Tigers still have several borderline players who could get processed in the Spring. Not to mention more kickers than we need.
I think we’re gonna be a bigger player in the portal yet. More than what has been let on.

And now we have Baker leading a whole new defensive staff. Spring Football will be interesting again. All new evaluations. No one had better coast or ride their upperclassmen status.

I love what Langlois adds but poor guy has been one injury after another. I could see him going into the portal and finish up strong at a state school. Ibieta might get processed and someone will get a good WR. The portal helps guys like that. Two kickers gotta go, too.
