Was Arch Manning at our spring game? I see that Texas is saying that he is going to be at their spring game.

I think Texas with Sark will be a major player
I think Ole Miss will be a darkhorse with Kiffin as well

I really don't see him at LSU even though LSU has signed two of his teammates

Tenn will have to show a lot under Heupel to be in the conversation

If we still had Brady he would already be committed. Hopefully bringing over Peetz will help us with him. I think a good season from our offense should help a lot

If Peetz can be successful we have a much better shot.

If Arch came to LSU, he would have to deal with a lot of crap, students would be fanboys trying to talk to him all the time, he would get run through the mud on TD after any game that wasn't amazing.

If Arch went to Texas, it would be this time 1,000,000. He wouldn't be ran through the mud on TD, he would get it from Longhorn network and espn. The boosters would be insane. Can you imagine the microscope he would be in under from both the Texas haters and the "We're back" crowd?

I definitely see how Texas and Sark would be appealing, but as him and Cooper get closer to that program, I think they will see that the benefits dont outweigh the negatives.

Very good points. It’s a fricking pressure cooker over there right now.

This is going to be a fun one to watch. LSU really is doing everything right, but damn we've got a lot of QB talent in the room. Max, Nussmeier, Howard, and then him coming in would be crazy.

I think Howard is a better QB. Really not worried whether Manning comes here or not. I think he ultimately goes elsewhere. Holstein may end up here though.

Texas had a qb with more fanfare than Arch once upon a time. Everything you said about what would happen to Arch, happened to him because he wasn't Tom Brady reincarnate. His name is Chris Simms.

If he goes to Texas he's gonna get ran thru the mud on TD before he even steps on the field

Just my opinion, but Duke might be ahead of TN as a dark horse b/c of Cutcliffe. I doubt that Duke would be the leader, but IMO ahead of Vols in the pecking order b/c of Coach Cut.

Ironically, supposedly texas was set to land Eli until they landed Sims in the previous class

Supposedly Georgia is starting to come on strong here

I believe he's mentioned that he really likes Sark. And he would be able to step in play pretty early. That Murphy kid is a major project, Arch should pass him up.

Eli's temperament would have worked better at Texas than Chris's did.

I'm not gonna sweat getting Arch with Howard coming in. Qb's don't want to wait anymore though I'm old school and think it's better for them to do so.

Would be nice if a Manning could show loyalty and leadership to the state they live. It’s not like we don’t have a competitive team. If he is like the rest of the Manning’s he will likely end up at bama. Can you imagine the greeting though when he arrives as qb in tiger stadium after passing on us. Hope his fellow louisiana folks come out to greet him loudly.

I think Howard is the better QB as well but Arch does have two more years to grow and mature
Holstein is in the same class as Arch - he has a ways to go, he left STM rather than sit behind Howard
