I guess it's never too early to start this thread. Who would you like/do you realistically see us having a shot at with the new hire?

realistically: Divinity (some say he's making his decision because he knew our DC hire)

would want: Dontaviouse Jackson

would want realistically: DeJon Harris (if he's open to play LB)

He could possibly sway Joyner and hopefully he gets Beckwith to stay. I wonder if Aranda was at that meeting where they are trying to coax him to stay?

Hopefully he makes a BIG push for Ben Davis

If we could keep beckwith and get divinity and Jackson we could have one of the best defenses in the country next year. IF tre white returns that would be icing on the cake.

BTW. Anthony Russo does take snaps from under center. skip to 6:40 of his highlights.

Same exact play we ran against TT when it hit Jeter in his stone hands.

In the new scheme, Bower, Key, and Anthony will be guys that will occupy LB spots. Godchaux will be at DE and basically every 2016 dline recruit can fit 3 tech DE or DT. Herron, Gilmore, or Lacouture and NG. One of the others at DE opposite of Godchaux and Key at OLB.

I love Jackson and wish we had more of a shot with him. Jackson would be a starting ILB next year along with Fowler or Beckwith IF he comes back.

We need Beckwith for next year. We'll be good after that.

This is how I feel as well. Beckwith could be the deciding factor that makes LSU's defense top 5 in the country good or just top 20.

Ditto. There's no dead period for recruiting your own players. The 2016 Defense starts with Beckwith this week.
