Ya kids make all state all the time that will never play a down of CFB

Manning is a high 4 star borderline 5 star prospect. Top 5-6 nationally

I’d rather Manning. Better athlete, off schedule player.

Just look at the stat lines in MaxPreps.

Did anyone notice who is #1? Landry Lyddy. Kid is a solid 3* grab for LaTech who was recruited by Joe Sloan. When he signed, first thing I thought was this kid is going to be decent in a few years under Sloan. Glad Sloan is on our side now.

Landry Lyddy.

Stud.

Won't be surprised to see him putting up big numbers. Was offered by Boise State as well.

Will flourish in that Tech offense.

You can’t rely on data from maxpreps. Most schools don’t put their stats on there.

You didn’t notice that Walker Howard’s stats aren’t on there?

I think manning will be #1 when you consider the mental aspect of the game. He’s physically very capable but will be far ahead mentally than most.

Also being on a good team, it’s more likely Manning left at halftime of most of his games when he could have been really running up his stats. The QB from Red River who made it wouldn’t have sat out as much (and had worse teammates, another underrated factor)

Wasn’t Lyddy Mr. Football as well?

Both Peyton and Eli did well in both the college and NFL ranks, while neither won an NCAA Chsmpionship. I am sure Arch will more than live up to the Manning name. He'll be fine wherever he lands.

Now that he's done as expected and jilted us I hope we can forget about this kid and the whole sorry Manning family.

Zintayvious Smith of Red River is the All-State QB in 2A. He passed for 2,670 yards with 30 TDs, and rushed for 625 yards and 11 TDs.
