I have been a bit out of the loop here since signing day came and went.
Not saying people are wrong, but what is the basis for the 1546 post saying he is gone. I keep reading it but haven't heard WHY. I have heard he is going to follow his brother from posters here but isn't his brother still employeed by LSU!
The only solid info I am aware of is LSU offering other 2016 QB's. What has everyone heard that I haven't.

If Shea is truly the QB many of us project him to be and if LSU is really serious about landing him, why not promote Sean Patterson to the position Brick Haley just vacated--provided penny pincher Aleva won't object?

I belive brick was just in a administrative position. I don't think he was a on feild coach anymore. I doubt sean would be interested in that position.

Don't blame Ole Miss, he's good. LSU tried the same thing, just wasn't as prepared to go as far as OM with the pay/position which was the "bid". He may turn out to be one awesome helluva QB coach. But I don't blame LSU for stopping where they did. With all the shuffing of coaches and such over the last couple of years LSU has to be a little tentative.
