naw, look at his history. He literally comes into threads, says something like "he's all LSU" then disappears.

I've said that a few times. He is a bigger version of Ware and hopefully, he has better vision..

Yep, lack of vision what the only thing that kept ware from being one of LSU's best backs ever. He ran though people so well... loved watching him run with the ball. Love that kind of runner. Give me a brutal, vicious runner anyday over one's that have speed.

Ware was such a vicious runner.

Just went watching his highlight. To be honest with you, nothing from his highlight really stands out to me other than a similar running style to Spencer Ware. He is probably a take in any other year but with Palelei already on board and Fournette being our biggest target this year, I wouldn't mind passing on him if we do get Fournette.

Thanks for your expert analysis! Not! Now get out of here! We don't need your expertise on this board. Ban!

We need 3 RBs in this class. Hill is almost certainly gone, Blue says he won't use his last year of eligibility that was just granted to him and Hilliard could choose to go. If so, that leaves Magee as the only returning RB. We'll need 3 RBs just to ensure we have some decent depth, assuming Hilliard goes.

My bad. I didn't know Blue would pass his last year of eligibility when I posted this. In that case, come on board Mr. Williams!!

If Blue does not return, it would especially be a good idea to make a very strong effort to land D Williams.

I am also wondering if there is a possibility that Gamble is asked to accept a grey-shirt to make sure all needs are met?

Watched Williams in first playoff game vs. Mandeville. He was pretty much shut down and not very impressive to me.

I watched him against Dutchtown and he looked really good at LB. Hard to say at RB because he never had a chance, they swarmed him as soon as he touched the ball.

On his rivals page, it says he is a soft verbal to Arizona State. I didnt realize he had so much interest in them.

It also says he takes his official visit to LSU on January 30, 2014.

He would have gotten an LSU offer by now as a RB if he hadn't run a 4.8 40 at the last LSU camp. If that is his normal time, Spencer Ware was obviously faster than that. LSU did the right thing offering him as an athlete. You need to be a lot faster than 4.8 in the SEC unless you are talking FB in the backfield.

LINK

According to scout he ran a 4.53. He obviously just had a bad 40 time @ the LSU camp. He'll play RB @ LSU. Charles Scott was slow and he was a productive SEC RB. The future is bright @ RB. It's going to be nasty with Boo, Dwill and Fournette. Dwill is a helluva back. He just so happens to be coming out with the best RB prospect since AP.

Watch his tape and tell me that's a 4.8? I brought this up earlier this year when I saw they listed Guice as 4.6+. No way explosion like that shown in his highlights is 4.6 anything.

He gets caught on almost every run and has to drag people into the end zone with him. Might have enough speed for safety/linebacker. Lsu should have taken Elijah maguire last year.
