but why are you on an LSU forum saying you hope they lose recruits so everyone can know what a bad hire Orgeron is.

Because he was a terrible hire and the sooner this regime and the AD get canned the better.

Can you tell me why it was a terrible hire? Because he failed at Ole Miss? Hate to break it to you, everyone in the last 35 years has failed at Ole Piss....well, except Freeze, but we see how that's about to turn out. We can agree on the AD kicking rocks, but I'm more than happy to give Ed a chance

Not exactly. O's the only OM coach since Steve Sloane 30+ years ago to not go to multiple bowls during his tenure. He failed much worse than most even by their lower standards.

Players love him and they pushed hard for him to get the job. He loves LSU and I know that's not enough, but it's a good fricking start. Really tired of these 'I hope Orgeron fails so everyone can know LSU made a bad choice'. If you love LSU, you will hope for Orgeron's success, otherwise your rooting against your team which is anti-fan(seeing this alot lately). Otherwise you're a Texas fan wishing bad things on us and you can GTFO

Just like the libtards against Trump- give O a chance before he is condemned! We tried for Hermann & Fisher- it didn't work out! Would folks really have been happy with Fleck or anyone else?? Outside of Saban or Meyer, none of the choices stack up to be serious about it...

Coach O talks to Myles at least 2-3 times a day

This sounds so annoying to me. Guess I'd be a bad recruiter bc I can't imagine talking to any high school kid this much. What do they talk about? Do the kids enjoy it? it's so strange to me.

Not enough to run one. That's not his forte'. The fact that I even have to tell you this, baffles me.

Oh really? Saban's forte is defense? Well I'll be damned.

Alabama has no Offense! QB is average at best! Pretty good running game. Their Defense wins the games.

People like you are pathetic. Hoping for failure just to prove that you were right.

Welcome to the Rant, or at least they should only be allowed to post there.
Never got that mentality from our fanbase.

They think we have unlimited power over every recruit or coach we want.
They set their expectations too high then bad mouth every person we get before they don't reach expectations.

Have you ever heard of Coach Gene Stallings?

At Texas A&M
"Texas A&M compiled a record of 27–45–1 in Stallings' seven seasons.[42] However, the Aggies won the Southwest Conference in 1967, Stallings' only winning season at A&M.[43] At the end of that season, A&M beat Alabama in the Cotton Bowl.[43] He was fired at A&M following the 1971 season, but, like his mentor Bryant, would go on to become Alabama's head coach in the 1990s and solidify a Hall of Fame career there."[41]

AT Alabam
In 1992, Stallings' experienced defensive unit led the team to an undefeated regular season and a berth in the first SEC Championship Game where Alabama defeated Florida, 28–21, giving Alabama its 20th Southeastern Conference (SEC) title, and its first outright conference title since 1979.[2] Following a 34–13 victory over heavily favored Miami in the 1993 Sugar Bowl to cap a perfect 13–0 season and the first Bowl Coalition national championship—their first national title since 1979.[5] It was during this early period at Alabama that Stallings coached wide receiver and future Clemson Head Coach, Dabo Swinney.

Stallings' 1992 Alabama team completed a 13–0 season with a win in the Sugar Bowl over Miami and was named the consensus national champion.
In 1993, Stallings' squad won a second straight SEC West Division title, compiling a 9–3–1 record. However, the Tide lost to Florida in the SEC Championship Game. In 1994, Stallings' team finished the regular season with a record of 11–0, an 8–0 record in the SEC, and captured its third straight SEC West Division title. However, they lost the SEC title game for the second year in a row to Florida.[5] Alabama finished the 1994 season with a 12–1 record, including a 24–17 victory over Ohio State in the Citrus Bow

And the funny thing is I was neutral on hiring CEO as HC but all the morons bashing the hell out of him really turned me into a CEO pumper on this board!

It is ok to have an opinion but some of those antiOrgeron posters are illogical as hell!

My sentiments exactly. Not my first choice, but I'm rooting for him...especially after hearing all these whiners crying over every breath he takes since he's become coach

They're going inhome on Monday. It's ridiculous we're even having to sweat this.
