I don't like two sport athletes period. I think its possible that playing baseball has hurt ware with spring and summer training.

I know! That's why I referenced him red-shirting, then switching over, later. Furthermore, he could still play/practice baseball next spring/fall. If he comes.

So isn't Alford going to be an EE? I think I read somewhere he will committing in the next few days.

No

Alford will graduate in May with his class. Plus he has his Senior baseball season to play. He has helped lead his HS to back to back HS titles.

Gunner is the EE, so we should know VERY soon (if CLM doesn't already).

Yes but football taking the backseat eventually means backseat when football is counting on him. And if he is playing football that means a football scholarship.

no different than a future first round pick leaving after Junior year of football.

if he comes and plays both sports well, good for him. let him dream. its not his fault that NCAA makes football pay the scholarship for baseball/football players.

He realy is a great talent. I have watched him play football and baseball and he is a beast to say the least. Hard worker, good attitude and unreal athletic ability.
