Redshirted his freshman year, played in 1 game last year, transferring out in the spring. Probably not who were looking for.

Remember that the VAST majority of players entering the portal right now are doing so because they are buried on the depth chart or they have been affirmatively told to look elsewhere. We should be looking at guys that were contributors at their former schools and are looking to trade up, not Alabama's or Georgia's 4th string.

I believe Perry is buried on the Tide's depth chart and LSU has better options out there.

I watched Perry throughout his HS career. He had a great motor but he's undersized for an interior DL. He probably needs to move to edge at his next stop.
