Watching recruiting nation and came across some information and updates..With the Rashaun Gary situation seems to me they have their maze and blue goggles on.They mentioned him having a great visit but, last I heard we were definitely one of the schools on par for an official. So it was kinda of strange to see them having the Gump's as a possible threat.Didn't even know they were a player in this saga..They also mentioned Auburn and Georgia..Seems like they really hate LSU.. Now on to the real news It was said from a source close to Manuel that we were #1 and the team to beat with every one else a distant second..IT was also noted that Smith gave the official to Death ?? Valley a 10/10 on the grading scale..Says he loved it but, we already knew that..They mentioned Clemson as the team to beat but,I personally think Steele bags this kid.. I have know sources this was taken from the scouts at ESPN on recruiting nation for whatever that's worth.. Just thought I'd bring the board some info since we have been thirsty for a boom this past week..

We've bagged Smith and Manuel if I'm reading tea leaves. I'm unsure about Gary.

I believe we sign Manuel and Smith. I feel better about us getting Sullivan back than getting Drake. I really thing it's a three team race for Gary, LSU, Michigan and Clemson. In the end he will go to the school that best prepares him for the NFL. Like our chances. Really would be amazing if we could pull Gary and Little. Longshot but not impossible.

Really don't want to start another thread for this so hopefully someone here can answer this. Why is Manuel not playing? Every IMG game I watch he has very limited snaps. I realize IMG is loaded with talent, but wouldn't a "5 star" top position player in the country be playing a lot more? Much like the Smiths at LB and Corner?
Just curious if there is some other reason behind his limited appearances.
