I hope I'm wrong, but I have never felt he was an LSU lock. This feels like the Joe McKnight situation where everyone felt like LSU was a lock just because it was in state but he never gave the impression he was coming here. Same thing with Marshall.
And this has nothing to do with a&m paying or whatever. He has a big arse family and they are all good people who want the best for him. I did see in the past them post articles about LSU putting players in the league. I had a conversation with his uncle about that. Hoping they are just keeping this to the best. I'm not saying LSU is out, I just am not that confident. His family aren't pro or against LSU. They love the hell out of the cowboys though, lol.

If he thinks he should be at A&M after attending the game in Baton Rouge this year while also being courted heavily by our coaching staff for the last two years, then he never had any desire to come here. Nothing shocks me in recruiting these days, but I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t come here. This staff did their work with this kid.

Yeah and LSU has gotten many recruits that has worn another teams gear multiple times and LSU has lost on numerous recruits who pose in front of cameras decked out in LSU gear.
I don't even try to guess or worry about recruiting until signing day now days.

I just went to look at his dad’s twitter and there’s easily an LSU post for every a&m.. he seems to really like certain past LSU players as well. He also seems to retweet several different schools.

Everyone I talk to said gun to their they would say he's going to LSU but would be sweating bullets when pulling the trigger

Not sweating it. Speedy Noil was suppose to be a difference maker. Huge loss for lsu, huge get for atm. A once in a generation type player.
Well, turned out fine. I know we recruited him hard, the family hard, and have an opportunity for early playing time. he either wants it or someone else will take it. LSU has done everything they can.
I like the recruiting, get the guys in the trenches. We'll find wr's, rb's, db's that will benefit from it.

Interesting that the Ags got three wide receivers getting crystal balled to them. Wonder how many they take. None are Marshall by the way.
