De'Aaron Fox is #8 overall player in the composite and lists LSU as one of his final 7 teams....

He is originally from New Orleans (Now at Cypress Lakes High School in Katy Tx) and says that LSU cites their last few classes as a reason the yare on their way up. They are competing against the big boys for this one though...
Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, North Carolina and NC State are his final 7.

If we'd get an extra year with the B's we have a chance to turn into a serious tournament threat for years
But sadly it won't happen, unless JJ can pull out some more top talent somehow

No doubt that's some heavy hitters we're up against. Hope we can land an official visit and see what happens.

Our coaching staff isn't worried about going up against the big boys. We've beaten them multiple times now.
I think we have a solid chance with Fox. No Texas is big as most had assumed he was leaning towards going to Austin. Hopefully we can sell him on being the next superstar after Ben and Tone leave. He would bridge the gap between next year and the absolutely loaded 2017 and 2018 in state classes quite nicely. We'd be set up pretty well to make another tournament run next year.

That's a very solid starting 5.
