Didn't Guice decommit for about 2 hours?

I mean, cut him some slack, the kid was committed for like a week. It's not like Dylan Moses or Tim Williams, who GREW UP on the LSU Campus.

I thought it was one of those 'reopenings' rather than a full fledged 'decommit'? Maybe for a week or something?

(I realize you're being sarcastic, but I'm wondering if I'm remembering correctly)

I always thought it was with Frank's/Les's approval to try and get his 5th star; the timing seemed to be right for that.

I actually wasn't. I remember a recruit reopening their recruitment. Then got a call from the coaches a few hours later and was back on as a verbal. I thought I remembered it being Guice.

Really weird career for this guy.

He set the roof on fire the previous two years, throwing for 6000 yards, 50 TDs, and completing over 60% of his passes.

Then he fell apart as a senior.

apologies for the assumption.

Yes, Guice either reopened or decommitted (I remember reopening) at the time of the all star game (Army? UA?) and stayed that way through game and a couple days. Then reaffirmed to LSU. Hence, why I'm thinking it was to get that 5th star. He did shine as a freaking WR in that game.

I guess it's not really a decommit but I've always been thrilled LSU missed on Janzen Jackson for some odd reason

Best misspelling I've seen in a while, and I'm neither mocking nor patronizing you.
