Good friend of mine is a huge dawg fan with some inside info. Says UGA was pretty much a lock for Stevens, until he visited Bama last weekend. Apparently won't answer phone calls or return texts from UGA players and coaches. TIFWIW. Also, there's like a dozen CB's for him to Bama. I also think the CB's are as accurate as an Amish weather forecast.

I think his family being in Louisiana helps us big time. And it's not like he's sacrificing anything going to LSU. There's never been a safety say,"Well, I guess I'll just rough it for a couple of years and go to LSU". I think he'll think hard about going to Bama but will end up going to the good guys. I hope so at least

I don't believe he comes to LSU in the end, but his commitment is 100% not over at all. Dude changes his mind like crazy and there's no way I believe him to be a Bama lock.

This particular "insider" has a very good track record and doesn't just spout off about any old topic to look cool on the internet. He is a prominent figure on the fundraising side.
