Derek Curiel OF, will be committing on perfectgameusa live stream at 6:00 central. Hopefully it will be for the good guys.

Would be cool but he’ll probably get drafted top 3 in the draft so he will be very unlikely to come to school which sucks.

We have two guys currently on the roster that were ranked about where he is at the same point in their career.

Project, is there a better chance of keeping these type of guys w/NIL?

I think on the whole, across all of college baseball, yes. It's still going to come down to the individual (as it always has), but I think there will be more guys choosing to go to college for multiple reasons, of which NIL is the biggest.
Let me clearly state that no kid is going to get an NIL deal that will compete with a first round bonus.
The math on coming to school vs going pro will change though. The old equation was Money Out (school) vs Money In (pros). Now, with NIL, scholarships will stretch farther and some guys may even come out ahead. So it's going to be Money In vs Less Money In.
That will move the needle for enough guys that it will be noticeable.
The decrease in minor league levels will also push more guys to college. The pros want this because they want guys getting to the majors later so they become free agents later and they cost less over the course of their career. Shitty for the players, but it benefits college baseball.
I could go even longer on this topic but I'll cut myself off here.

This is happening tomorrow (Saturday). Not tonight.

Agree with everything Project said. I believe it will be noticeable but not dramatic. A lot of guys just want to get their professional career started early. Others want to go to college. The NIL will help with those on the fence.

Between NIL and the MLB trying to cut down significantly on their investment in the minors college baseball should be very fun in the future.

We have a loaded class coming in. 13 in the top 300. Let's get most of them on campus.

You show a lot of understanding ala MLB . And you are correct with your points. I think full scholarships for college baseball are coming , but now that the genie is out of the bottle , it's gonna allow teams with many rich alumni to dominate the game . It's like MLB , but w/no cap. Anything goes. I wonder what the Gold Club in BR is offering , or is it still there ? The NIL is just as sure as Hell gonna affect where some of these kids, MLB or the highest bidder from college baseball.b I still can't wait to see the blow back from the 1099's , & what will happen when tax season is here.
