“The main schools I’m talking with are Texas A&M, LSU, Texas, Alabama, Washington, Ohio State and a few others,” Jackson said. “There’s probably about 10 schools I’m looking at but I’m talking the most with LSU and Texas A&M.

says he likes that UT brought back the 4man front so might have some extra work to do to get him to see himself in a 3-4 but him bulking up some this should help with that

Ya I though that kind of an odd statement considering he then went on...

Re LSU: I would fit in well with their scheme too. I would play with my hand down as a defensive end but also some five-tech too.

So is does he want a 4-3 or 3-4?

My first inclination is he was just throwing love UTs way because he's from Texas and knows people. But if he stays in Texas, I would bet aTm since his dad played BB there.

But apparently CEO is on him hard.

His dad played basketball for Texas A&M. Gonna be a hard pull, but not impossible.

You are 100% correct, but if the Dad feels it is better for his son to go to LSU in order to go pro, watch and see what happens. Parents who have played at that level also understand that they need to put there kid in the best place to succeed and attain their goals even if it means to go away from their alma mater

Future 50 Practice

I think the kid has a ton of potential but I still can't get over how uncoordinated he looks in this video.

LSU is playing a 4-3 the last five games.

Marcus Burris #44 SDE from TPG is the one LSU should be going hard for.

Jackson is project.

Yep, the chick on Twitter making fun of him--- just got accepted to MIT. (Right).

Plus Landon at 17 years of age would bitch slap all these 1st round picks in here...(probably back-hand them into a coma)

***Note LSU fans on here...there a few guys fanning the flames on this kid in this thread. But if you look at other threads flaming kids, our coaches, our team, etc..its pretty much the same guys. (this looks like a coordinated effort) To make our fan base, team, look bad. We are recruiting this kid. That should say enough. Mods maybe look at this...and know if it hurts LSU or our team. That should not be tolerated...***

He just has terrible technique in that twitter clip.

That can be coached out easily.

The kid has tools and I want them.

He literally just slapping bags. Yes it teaches technique but it doesn’t tell you anything about how good he is at football. A bag is not an o lineman

Don't get worked up over this shite, social media is cruel, these keyboard warriors say a lot of mean things. This kid is going to be a star, I hope LSU secure his commitment.

Seriously. Also, all these people saying he cant hold up in the SEC or would be a risky recruit dont have a clue what they're talking about. The kid is one of the top players in the class, for frick's sake. I PROMISE you that there is literally not one single SEC coach saying "this kid cant hold up in the SEC". His athleticism is off the charts and every program in the country would be ecstatic to land him.

As for that one awkward rep, one of his coaches replied explaining that it was a drill he'd never done with equipment his program doesn't have. Even LJ himself took it in good spirits, admitting that he didn't know wtf he was doing and looked silly. To me, that kind of self-awareness points to a goddamn good kid. Kids with his level of tape and that great of a head on their shoulders are guys you build a program around.

Unfortunately, the kid looks to be built like the dude in the hills have eyes as well.

He is lacking muscle mass. He needs to gain 30-40 lbs of muscle to make it in the SEC, or he will be getting pushed around all over the field on running plays.

He’s 6-5 and just made 17 you dope lol

This is what Arden key looked like at the same age. This is what other athletic freaks that size look like at that age. Lol clueless fricks
