First: I'm excluding Grier when I talk about Florida's bad QB play since Tebow. He was formidable.
I also do not doubt McElwain will get the Gator offense back on trck.
I'm arguing that Muschamp was not their only problem. For whatever reason, UF's talent at QB and WR did not pan out under Muschamp, and excluding a brief stint under Grier, it still has not since Tebow. I just don't think their players were very good.
None of the highly regarded TEs or WRs florida has had recently have done much of anything in the college ranks much less the NFL. I checked. They were ranked high but not actually very good. Blame their offensive scouts.

I don't follow your reasoning. If he were to leave, wouldn't that mean that he'd never be eligible to play D-1 again because he'd have to sit out his senior year? (unless he graduates)
