This is awesome. Kid is a stud. We've got the top two in state position players committed to us for 2017. And Enlow is probably the top in state pitcher.

I wonder if Cohen losing his entire coaching staff had something to do with it? Kid is a beast, ive been reading up on him since i saw he decommitted this morning. Looks to be a serious draft risk, but a great get for Andy and Mainieri nonetheless. That 2017 class is

ABSOLUTE STUD. Kid can flat out rake. Honestly has more pop as a HS junior than half of LSU's starters this past season. Now we just have to get him to campus. Prep Baseball Report has him as #16 overall in 2017.

Sonny on 247 says hinted that Pearson may want to get an education. So I guess we will see. Alot of our 2017 guys are going to be draft risks. Getting Pearson and Daniel Cabrera in the same outfield is big-time though if both make it to campus.

Speaking of Cabrera there is a rumor on 247 that he is looking at leaving John Curtis for a Baton Rouge high school w/ Catholic and Parkview Baptist as likely landing spots.

Don't forget Nick Webre too at Teurlings Catholic. That kid made some amazing plays in the state championship.

Cabrera has a good arm, he is a potential 2 way player, but how good is Pearsons arm? And webre's?

It feels like LSU went heavy INF for 2016 and OF for 2017.

We have a lot of good arms coming in this year too.

I know this gets thrown around way too often. But Pearson is a potential 5 tool type of player. He is already better than say someone like Jake Slaughter, and that is not on knock on Slaughter who is a very good ball player as well.

It was amazing, then he hurt his throwing shoulder playing freshman football. It's been a long road back, but it's finally starting to come around. Have you seen the Tweet with the wiffleball hitting the kid in the face? That's him throwing to his little brother. Hold on, I'll find some videos of him.

So would you say his arm is better than the outfielders we have had the past few years? Fraley, Laird, Stevenson, duplantis, ect.

Perfect game has his OF mph at 83mph and for reference Jake Fraley had a 91 OF mph coming out of high school. Hopefully it is a football injury and continues to get better.
