2017 4* linebacker Will Ignont decommited from Bama. LSU is in the mix

He was never committed to Bama (publicly)
Like article states, was a silent and supposedly Bama told him they have no room. I.E. they are waiting on Chris Allen and Dylan Moses. Funny enough, so are we...
But I dont think you turn down Ignont when you need LBs like we do.

I think it will ultimately come down to how dominant our defense looks this season under Aranda's defense.

I think it's more so down to playing time. Everyone know's Aranda's scheme and it works well under him. But it looks like we are potentially starting 3 seniors at LB this year in Riley, Beckwith and Bower...so that should attract the top LBs this year in for early playing time.

He's the only player Kevin Steele ever recruited while he was on staff at LSU.

We finally addressing linebacker to an elite level since Chavis left.

He'll be able to play early at ILB because all we will have there next year is young inside guys. Moses (IF he comes) will most likely play on the side opposite Arden Key. IMO, our LBs will be ridiculous next year.
