Oh no doubt but not against teams with good receivers. Roth knows the skill sets he is a great coach.

Who said they got cheated? Never said that in my post. And yes they were scared to play man, they hide their deficiencies real well in the zone that they play.

Looks like cover 3 to me.

Sammy I see u don't know how to read defenses. Great eye darryl. Also mudbone I feel like every summer I have this argument with someone like u with a low post count that is a Rummel fan saying wait till next year we have 10 five stars blah blah. In reality the Rummel coaching staff hides the weaknesses very well year in and year out and bc of this they get a big time scholly and get exposed in college.

your right blah blah blah . all the talent and no championships . rummel has talent and its only getting better. ask coach roth .quote the best senior class he's had in 19 years .

He says that every year, it coach talk. Yea you guys have talent maybe 1 or 2 cn play d-1 ball but the others are marginal. Fulton is a d-1 guy but i don't think he will be good with chief bc he isn't 6'0 by far and we still don't know if he can play man. Now that DT i like him
Posted on 4/18/14 at 6:57 pm to 5Alive
he' 6'1 now so what more do you wanna know i'll be glad to tell you.
Posted on 4/18/14 at 6:59 pm to muddbone
Lol no he is not! So now he is LF height! Lmao. If he is 6'1 then Toliver is 6'4 as is Stanley Morgan 6'5

5Alive,
you are one of the better posters. I know you have a good insight on the nola recruiting scene. That said, your point is clear on Rummels defense. I am by no means a scout, but we should respect the LSU DB evaluation. It must mean something if the staff offered an instate Db already based on only his sophomore accomplishments.
His highlights, from my perspective, verify the legitimacy of the offer. I, for one, hope to see him in PnG. If he does play mostly zone, his skill set will alow for the refinement of his technique and he will definitely rise towards his ceiling.
Heres hoping he chooses the good guys, and proves to be a great Tiger

Lsu is a hand to hand team?
That's not what mano y mano means, literally or figuratively. Literally it means "hand and hand"; figuratively it means "one against one". So, yes, LSU IS (often) a mano y mano team.
