2012 WR Avery Johnson Not Qualified?

@ScarboroughMike: #LSU WR signee Avery Johnson will have to detour before making his way to Baton Rouge.
I don't have a subscription so didn't read the article, but I'm guessing he didn't qualify. Can anyoone confirm? Would this affect the way we recruit WRs for the last few spots in the 13' class? RSJ, Laquon Treadwell, etc..

Damn, that's a shame to hear. Wish him the best and hope he ends up in P&G in 2014. ETA: I see he is going to prep school, not JUCO, so hopefully we'll see him on campus in 2013.

Act score right? Scott long said he thought him and the ol from California juco would make it. This sucks if true.

No, he probably would've redshirted anyway. I don't see this as a big issue as far as the team itself is concerned. He goes to Hargrave for four months, gets the grade/score, and is back in January in time for classes, and Spring ball. He wasn't gonna see action this year anyway.
