I coach Cody Jones from Ville Platte he plays QB and is in the same class as this he is right now he only 6'0 185 but he runs a 4.5 in the forty he is helluva athlete so look out for him he's gonna be a beast.

There are people of French heritage in south Alabama too, south Mississippi for that matter. Mobile was the original capital of French Louisiana.

I understand that, and thanks for the refresher course on some Acadians settling in the Gulf region, and/or getting sprinkled during the exodus.

I just was curious that he may have some La lineage?

Cassius Marsh and Lache Seastrunk do.
