Not that I'll lose sleep in my powerless hot house here in BR if no one replies or whatever... But I was wondering if anyone knew where they evacuated the zoo animals? Let me be specific: the some time 4 legged animals with fur etc etc not the ones that speak Project English. #NotRacist

The giraffes are the only ones that survived, for obvious reasons, except for one that got its neck tangled up in power lines.

zoo animals dont really get evacuated. most, if not all, have an area in their enclosures where they can be locked in away from the weather. they are fine if the enclosures hold up

yea the animals should be fine. enclosures probably have a lot of debris in them and maybe some downed trees and whatnot but all those animals were secured before the storm hit. workers probably on shifts to feed and check at least twice a day
