Winter weed cocktail question

I laid fresh St. Augustine sod in September in my front yard. Is it okay for me to do a broadcast application of winter weed cocktail right now? If not, how long should I wait?

Is it rooted and have you mowed it?

Side note: do not use pre emergent for 1 year.
It can prevent the roots from becoming fully established.

If your yard is transitioning from dormancy to green then it can injure the lawn. Without seeing it I’d say atrazine and msm would be a better option.

It's still transitioning. Probably about half way green currently. Is it okay to spray msm turf and atrazine together in a single application?

I asked this in another thread but wouldn’t it be wise to wait to use the winter weed cocktail? South Louisiana is definitely in a full transition phase right now.

Yes, I’d use atrazine and msm on st Aug or centipede. You can’t use atrazine on Bermuda during green up. Craw is going to have more knowledge than me on cleggs cocktail. I use atrazine a lot but I don’t use weed free zone.

What would be best to use on white clover right now. In Lafayette area. Bermuda is in green up currently. Have about 8 acres to do, so trying to keep it economical.

Do not use atrazine on greening/green bermuda. Use MSM only.
