What’s with the premium mulch shortage?

I can’t find the good mulch anywhere!!! WTF is going on? Landscape contractors must be in a real bind. Luckily, I only need a half dozen or so....did most of my yard earlier this spring.

Well, considering most of the stuff used to make mulch comes as a by-product of the lumber industry, it's not a stretch to see why you're seeing a shortage.
