Is it in clumps? It looks a bit like Poa Annua

Can you take a side pic of it with the roots?

Beaked Corn Salad according to my free flora app, PictureThis. I actually took a pic of your pic for it to process the image.

Are you in the Acadiana area? That shite is everywhere around here, and I don’t really remember seeing much of it before this year. Really odd that it kinda came out of nowhere.

Yes I am in the Acadiana area. Ronk the recommendation says below 85 degrees. Am I too late to apply the MSM?

I might be wrong but I think the temperature limit is for the time of application. So as long as you apply in the morning before it reaches 85 its ok if the day surpasses 85.

I had that mess growing in my yard across the bay from Mobile. Ever since Hurricane Sally a lot of weeds I’ve never seen before are popping up in everyone’s yard. The local landscape supply company is selling more Celsius weed killer than they can keep on the shelves. The majority of the centipede and St Augustine yards in this area look the worst I’ve ever seen coming out of dormancy. Many centipede yards are mostly dead with weeds growing everywhere. No earthly idea why. It’s not a neighborhood problem it’s a county problem. Weeds everywhere.

Did you have some flooding? A hurricane? These two events spread seeds everywhere.

Do you guys think Scott’s weed and feed would take care of this problem?

So I took a sample of the weed and went to to the local and has been identified as marsh parsley as some of you have stated. The sold me Hi Yield weed free zone.
