Does it produce white flowers or any other colored flower?

Looks like Confederate or Star Jasmine, but not really sure from that photo. Better/closeup photos would help.

Yes, I believe you are right. Asian Jasmine. I have sprayed 4 gallons of weed/grass killer on it earlier in the week, and it hasn’t phased it.

If that’s was glyphosate you sprayed, it’s not very effective on Asian Jasmine - though you wouldn’t see the effects after a week anyway.

You can wait it out and see what happens but you might want to try trichlopyr to kill it.

As noted by others, the pic doesn't help identify the vine other than to eliminate common problems like Virginia creeper, poison ivy, common briar, bush killer, pepper vine, etc.

For best effect with Roundup, 1st cut vines climbing tree as close to base as possible. The growth on tree will then die. 2nd use a trimmer to cut vines rooted in dirt right down to ground. Treat with herbicide once new tender leaves sprout. Hitting new growth can be very effective.

Asian jasmine. Glyphosate isn’t going to work. Gonna have to grip it and rip it.

The only option is to introduce aerial blight to the jasmine. Which I can’t help you there.

Baw, you put 4 gallons of herbicide on something without knowing what it was and whether or not it would even work?!

4 gallons of Spectricide Weed and Grass killer did the whole perimeter of my yard. Seeing great results on the weeds, but Asian Jasmine is still thriving after 5 days

Asian jasmine. Like others have said, you're gonna have to manually rip it out. I've had some luck with running a weed eater through it to open it up and spraying immediately with crossbow+spreader sticker. The waxy leaves make it hard for anything to work.

I think that is what I had years ago and it seems like Asian or Japanese Jasmine. I took my hedger and cut it along ground level and lifted it off like a carpet. that seemed to essentially kill it back except for a few sprouts here and there. Take the edger and run it along ground level and cut it all out that way. I never got sprays to kill it either.
