I know a guy that sells for Acme brick, he told me about a week ago prices are at all time highs. He cannot even get in some colors of bricks.

The big 3 in BR area are Acme, Economy, and McConnell.

I bought 2 600-brick pallets of used brick a year ago from McConnell LINK /. It's a multi-generation company. They were quite helpful selling to a naive home owner. A contractor installed it. Choices were limited last year... must be worse now.

I'd try Economy Brick. If you are open to picking something they have or can get, you will be okay. If your wife has or sees one that she has to have.....
Some said Acme, but they aren't selling in LA anymore. The market in TX was so hot it didn't make sense to ship brick here so the store in BR is basically floors only now.

You could try Cocreham Brick on Airline. They definitely have a nice showroom.
