Need help with woodworking project problem

Updating the man cave. Putting a glass windowed cabinet door into side of closet for access to audio gear.
Problem is glass for door is 3/32 too wide for cabinet door frame, so I need to widen one inside edge (rabbet?) by this amount.
Door is 54” tall by 20” wide roughly, so what would be the best way to cleanly widen the inner edge of the tall side of the door. ( ie not the inside edge but the inner edge of the rabbet.
TIA

A palm router with a 1/4" shank straight router bit. A solid carbide downcut spiral would be a better choice since they are more controllable with small routers and leave a clean finished edge but that is something you'll have to order from MLCS or similar. With those tools, a few measurements, and a good straight edge to run the router along it's maybe a 10 minute job.

Freud makes a rabetting bit for your router that comes with different size bearings for different size rabets. No straight edges necessary, the bearing takes all the guess work out. You’ll need a chisel to square up the corners though since they’ll be round

Thanks again for the replies.
Luckily I found a router bit kit I had forgotten I picked up at Harbor Freight which had the straight bit I needed. Only had one minor hiccup while cutting it but luckily it all worked out and the glass now fits perfectly
The worst thing was getting a spot to do the work, as both my work benches were way too small to do this on. I eventually clamped the cabinet door frame to our granite countertop in the kitchen and did the work there under the frighteningly malicious stare of my wife. ;)
Luckily no countertops were harmed in the making of this project and work on the man cave moves forward toward it’s ultimate finish
