LP Smartside Trim Hard To Find?

Anyone know why LP smartside trim is hard to find in Louisiana? I’ve searched HD/Lowe’s and local lumber yards. Nada. Move outside the state and it appears to be available.
I used the siding on my shed and wanted to use the trim but now I may need an alternative or a trip to Mississippi.

LP smartside has a good product but as a company they are a piece of shite to work with. No distributors want to work with them because they don’t have a good pricing set for their distribution network. They will set one company up with distribution rights then set another company with better pricing and allow them to cross markets.
Also there are still a lot of contractors who just don’t trust the product. It is a good product but it’s wood and they still have that wood rots mentality. Maybe still thinking about the Masonite siding.
