Is it to late to treat stickers

Is there something I can do to control these? Not the big bur type but the little ones? East Texas soil

Pull them up by hand, they meet at a single root… or mow them until they die with heat

Feel them and see if they have stickers on them yet. The stickers are the seeds and if you kill them before they seed, you are good.
