Help with Frigidaire fridge water drip (pics included)

My fridge has water buildup under the drip pan everyday. My best guess is condensation building up and eventually leaking dripping down the front of the door down to the floor. The topside of the drip pan is dry. Sometimes, I have noticed an ice cube in the chute that starts to melt and will drip out the chute but this underneath the drip pan is aggravating. I wipe it daily. I tried some silicone. Failure because it would never set because of the cold/moist I guess. Any ideas on what is causing this and how I can seal it or prevent it. Thanks.

Presumably you have confirmed the lil ice chute door is actually closing/sealing all the way. I'd look next at the underside where the water and ice dispense. You may be able to observe if there is leakage at the water dispenser hose. Check also the bottom of the main door to see if there is water accumulated/trapped/leaking there. That could indicate the leak is inside of the dispenser mechanism.
I would speculate it is a water leak, though, and not ice melting. Maybe condensation, but you'd already have figured that out I'm sure.

Been dealing with the same issue since the first day of getting this fridge....

I have noticed ice drip (melt) one drop at a time with the door open so I know that is not the main issue. accumulated crushed ice inside the chute used to drip past the flap and i'd notice water inside the drip pan.
This seems to be accumulating underneath the drip pain, and builds up enough to drip down the front of the fridge. I do not suspect a water leak.
Im wondering if there is a product or another solution to seal that off if it is condensation. the silicone idea did not work.

None...... And I can't stand the marks the water leaves on the freezer below.... Constantly wiping and polishing the stainless.
Also, don't try to polish the back of the dispensing area. That is just a plastic type material and any type of stainless polish will take the finish off of it.... I learned that the hard way.

Our last LG did this crap, but it was coming from behind the panel somewhere so we couldn't do anything about it. We thought cleaning out the tube the water squirts out of helped some (little bits start to grow in there), but it would still drip from outside the tube. Quality doesn't exist in your standard appliances anymore.

so last night I put a small strip of duct tape around those cracked openings underneath the drip pain and there was no drip marks this morning.
I might be on to something. my thought is that it is condensation and the tape is blocking the warm and cold air from meeting.
I need to reapply the tape better to allow the pan to fit better.
