Has anyone purchased or tried that Grill Rescue brush? I'm tempted, but it honestly doesn't look like it would hold up for more than a few cleanings.

Also, what do you all use for a de greaser on your outdoor pits?

Cuisinart has a similar one for half the price. I just use a stainless scraper, but I have stainless grates on everything.

I have it and it works fairly well. Came with two heads and the first has held up over 20+ cleanings. It isn't perfect and I like to loosen it up with my old wire brush first, but the water bath/steam does get it pretty clean.

I'd recommend as an ask for a stocking stuffer from your in-laws, which is how I got it

Have the grill rescue brush. Used it dozens of times and still works great.

I use a wooden one called Great Scrape and it has held up well for several years. I use my grill at least a couple times a week.

My mother in law brought me one for Christmas. It works better on my griddle than anything. It also took a month to get here from China...soooo

I have one and I'm not a fan of using it on my grill. It doesn't scrape the heavy stuff off so I end up using an old scraper to get most of the leftovers off and then follow it up with the Grill Rescue to remove any shavings that might have been left. That may be overkill, but that's what I do.

As another poster said, I like it better on my Blackstone griddle than on my grill.

We had one, but turned to using the wire brush after a few uses of the grill rescue. It broke on us the first time we used it, but customer service was great and replaced it.

Palmyra brush to knock off the layer on top of your grates.
Let the rest of the stuff stay. It's like an old seasoned BBQ pit.
All you want to do is clean off the contact surfaces where your food will sit.
