I buy a lot of material from HJ Smith Hardware in Covington for small projects. For larger projects CMC Rebar in Pearl River. They used to or sometimes go by Capital Steel.

this place in kenner is where i used to get stuff like that, they will sell direct to the public LINK
but as you can see they closed (not sure if its carona related)
there must be something similar to them on northshore
