Central AC availability ?

Old AC may be done. Are the central AC units suffering like everything else ? Gonna need 5 ton unit, Thibodaux area

ya inflation got just about everything double the price from 2 yrs ago
now add to that news theres a lot of people needing repairs so they might be pretty busy and not able to get over to you for a bit so you will have time to compare.
personally i think of trane as the best quality made frames and bodies and not being flimsy, but all brands use the same exact parts inside it.

Trane is good. Had it installed before the flood of 2016 was under 8ft of water and after flood it kicked right off. The only problem it had was the condenser fan motor was making a louder noise than what it was supposed to make. Just replaced fan motor this past week got tired of the noise. It was still working at time of replacement. It was a sealed fan unit.
