Looking for around 5 cubic yards of topsoil to go over our backyard to start seeding in the spring. Any suggestions on where to go and what I should expect to pay after delivery?

Problem we have is that our backyard isn't accessible other than by a small fence along the front yard (no way for any vehicles to fit). I guess I could just have them drop the dirt on our front yard and we wheelbarrow it a ton of times?

Try Clegg's on Seigen for top soil. Get a gorilla cart to haul to your back yard, or better yet rent a Georgia buggy.

Call Perrault’s Trucking, tell them what you’ll need.

Will Cleggs deliver by the bag or just fill a dump truck?

I *think* they only deliver truck loads.
You can call them at 225-292-9513 and ask.

I have yet to find a Cleggs or LA nursery type place that has real topsoil. What they sell in inadequately composted organic material mixed with some sand. You can get rivrersilt a few places but true top soil is very hard to come by.

I've read reviews on Landscape Depot on Airline and people either love it or they hate the owner for being a dick. I personally wouldn't care how the transaction went because I just need dirt at a reasonable price and don't plan on ever making this type of purchase again in my lifetime.

Hollis Kinchen.

5 cyd of soil in bags is about 225 bags.

Cheaper by the dump truck delivery.
