Would military board be too specific

I know that we already have a lot of boards and I only use a few, trant, secrant, recruiting OT, moresports, maybe if not full on....seasonally for veterans day, memorial day, etc...not really political. ..just people who like talking grunt stuff n vets like me...seems to be some interest? Feedback? Oh...n I love the help board btw

I would say that military falls under "politics" and that there are already a lot of boards

I agree there are too many boards, perhaps we could run a pilot...study the overall utilization rates and dump the most under performing? Fwiw, I just hate to get mixed up I'm the police board over war stories both current and prior amongst fellow tders, and pollute other boards...it was brought up in the OT,and maybe tRANT, so I'm just posing a scenario where we may try a utilization analysis and dump the lowest performer (s) with a milItaly board if given proper time.

why?
it seems like military is an extension of foreign policy - no?
* whether to increase or decrease spending
* national guardsmen are being forced to pay back signing bonuses
* we attacked XYZ country
* XYZ country is holding our soldiers hostage
* a base in Alabama is being closed
etc
I would argue that 90% + of the time, a military topic should default to politics...

Did you miss the not political part?
If you want to discuss the political implications of foreign policy and military action go knock yourself out on the political board. It's a political discussion involving the military.
If you want to discuss a tank or the anniversary of some war, being that it isn't political, it would go on the OT.
